A respected Kansas City law firm is actively seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Litigation Attorney with a strong foundation in trial advocacy and consumer protection law. Duties:

• Direct complex consumer litigation matters from intake through resolution

• Lead case strategy development and supervise legal support teams

• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct and defend depositions and engage in robust discovery

• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations

• Engage directly with clients to build trust and ensure informed participation

• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate in a team-based environment

• Participate in legal education, community outreach, and firm-wide initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, preferably in consumer protection, civil litigation, or similar practice areas

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Missouri and Kansas (licenses in additional jurisdictions are a plus)

• Demonstrated experience managing trial dockets and court proceedings

• Strong background in motion practice and evidentiary hearings

• Track record of working with diverse and vulnerable client populations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in both Missouri and Kansas

Skills:

• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative solutions
