This is a premier opportunity for a skilled attorney with significant experience in complex debt financing transactions. The role involves leading transactional teams, managing client relationships, and participating in business development initiatives. Ideal candidates will bring deep experience working with international clients on sophisticated finance deals and possess a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.

Lead teams of junior attorneys, law clerks, and paralegals in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance-related documents
Manage due diligence for a variety of debt financing transactions
Analyze legal due diligence findings and report them to clients
Advise clients across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America on cross-border and domestic finance matters
Participate in and lead client development and marketing initiatives
Oversee the financial and administrative management of client matters
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Associate Attorney at an international law firm with annual revenues exceeding $400 million
Demonstrated experience advising borrowers, lenders, agents, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors on a broad range of finance transactions
Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York
Juris Doctor (J.D.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
Active member of the New York State Bar
Expertise in a wide range of financing structures, including:
Leveraged financing
Fund and life insurance premium financing
Art financing
Unitranche and mezzanine loans
Cross-border and ESG-linked financing
Bond offerings and SBA loans
Proficient in drafting stock redemption agreements, intercreditor agreements, mortgages, life insurance assignments, and legal opinions
Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations including the Securities Act of 1933, Dodd-Frank Act, Basel III, and the Investment Company Act of 1940
Exceptional client communication and team leadership skills
Proven ability to lead business development efforts and manage high-value client relationships
