A law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its team in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing and litigating family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and complex financial matters. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative team that provides comprehensive legal services to clients in need of family law assistance.

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and financial settlements.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case preparation, depositions, and court appearances.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of family law issues, including child support, alimony, and property division.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve high-conflict cases to reach favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with support staff and other team members to ensure the effective handling of cases.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and ensure that all legal deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills with a proven track record in resolving complex family law matters.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active state bar license in Utah is required.

• In-depth knowledge of family law issues, motions, and depositions.
