The attorney will support the Premises Liability Team, managing a diverse range of cases involving the defense of various businesses. The position involves engaging in all phases of litigation, focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals.

Duties

• Analyze case facts and assist in developing litigation and discovery strategies.
• Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories and subpoenas.
• Assist in preparing for depositions and other discovery-related proceedings.
• Prepare discovery memoranda and meet-and-confer correspondence.
• Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, with experience managing written discovery and disputes.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities, with strong analytical skills.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
