Duties:

• Represent public and private employers in matters involving labor, employment, and education laws, including but not limited to disciplinary actions, terminations, and discrimination claims.
• Conduct internal investigations related to workplace issues.
• Draft and review employment agreements and separation/severance agreements.
• Advise clients on applying federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Collaborate with other practice areas to provide integrated solutions for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and employment law developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and deliver strategic solutions.
• Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others and work within a team environment.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law, including federal and state regulations.
