Duties

• Represent clients in District of Columbia court proceedings, managing cases from start to finish.

• Manage and organize case files with precision and confidentiality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to legal support staff.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as motions and briefs.
• Maintain strong client relationships and advocate on their behalf.
• Ensure effective communication with team members and clients.
• Demonstrate trial advocacy skills and litigation proficiency in the courtroom.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years in family law litigation with extensive courtroom experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice in DC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in time management and multitasking.
• Familiarity with Google Drive, G-Suite, and MyCase software preferred.
• Strategic thinker with an innovative approach to legal challenges.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Washington, DC.
