Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in New York, NY. This role offers the chance to work on significant personal injury cases, providing meaningful responsibility and direct mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.

Duties

• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery demands, and motions.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation and trial strategy.
• Attend court conferences, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Support senior attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admission (or pending admission) to the New York Bar.
• 0-2 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred.
• Professional or conversational proficiency in Spanish, Polish, and/or Urdu is a plus.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Technical proficiency preferred; experience with Microsoft Office and case management systems (SmartAdvocate a plus).
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission (or pending admission) to the New York Bar.
