Duties

• Handle first-party commercial and residential property claims, insurance coverage disputes, and insurance class actions.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Retain and collaborate with experts as needed for case preparation.
• Supervise and utilize junior associates for legal research and case-related tasks where appropriate.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions and pleadings, with precision.
• Deliver high-quality legal representation while managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Proven track record in handling first-party insurance claims and class actions.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar.
