Location

Duties

• Assist in managing litigation matters through all stages of litigation

• Represent clients in diverse civil defense cases

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests and handle related motions

• Collaborate with attorneys and partners on litigation strategy and execution

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents

• Participate in court appearances and depositions as opportunities arise

• Communicate regularly with clients and provide case updates and legal recommendations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense

• Experience in general liability, premises, products, transportation, employment, or insurance litigation preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong client communication and relationship management abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills

• Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with discovery processes and courtroom procedure

• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative legal team
