This position is ideal for an attorney with 10 or more years of litigation experience, particularly in the areas of general liability, transportation, or insurance defense. The role offers the opportunity to manage high-stakes cases, work directly with national clients, and lead litigation efforts through trial. Location

• Dallas, Texas

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to trial or settlement

• Conduct investigation, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

• Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials

• Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and support staff on case strategy

• Communicate directly with clients and provide ongoing case reports

• Oversee all aspects of legal representation, including legal writing, motions, and argument

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense litigation

• Experience with general liability, transportation, trucking accidents, or catastrophic industrial accidents

• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment

• Strong client-facing experience preferred

• Experience with legal project management is a plus

• First-chair trial experience highly valued

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
