A nationally recognized defense litigation law firm is seeking a Senior Complex Litigation Attorney for its Dallas, Texas office. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury cases. The position offers the opportunity to independently manage complex litigation matters, work directly with national clients, and collaborate with a high-performing legal team. A flexible hybrid working arrangement is available.

Location

• Dallas, Texas

Duties

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through trial or resolution

• Conduct investigations, discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and clients to develop and execute case strategies

• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide status reports

• Participate in trial preparation and, where applicable, act as first or second chair at trial

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in defense practice

• Experience handling personal injury, general liability, catastrophic injury, transportation, or similar civil litigation matters

• Strong case management and litigation skills with ability to work independently

• Client-facing experience preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment

• Legal project management experience is a plus

• Trial experience (first or second chair) preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
