Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 3-7 years of litigation experience for its Kansas City, MO office. The ideal candidate will have prior employment litigation experience and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position offers flexible remote work, with some onsite presence required. Missouri bar admission is necessary, while Kansas and/or Illinois admission is preferred but not required.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Manage multiple litigation projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently.
• Attend court proceedings and client meetings as needed.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of litigation experience, with a focus on employment litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Missouri bar admission required; Kansas and/or Illinois preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Missouri; Kansas and/or Illinois preferred.
