Duties

• Manage a caseload of premises liability, negligent security, or commercial auto and wrongful death cases.
• Conduct depositions, site visits, accident reconstructions, and witness interviews.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including summary judgments and expert challenges.
• Appear in state and federal courts to advocate for clients.
• Collaborate with retail risk managers, insurers, and in-house legal teams on strategy.
• Advise clients on liability exposure, settlement options, and trial posture.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Texas Bar.
• 3-6 years of litigation experience in civil, insurance defense, auto/trucking, or tort.
• Proven deposition and motion writing skills.
• Strong communicator and effective time manager.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
