A prestigious law firm based in New York City is actively seeking a skilled Real Estate Litigation Attorney with extensive experience handling landlord/tenant disputes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Housing and Supreme Court litigation, with a proven ability to manage complex cases. Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as a track record of drafting persuasive legal documents, are essential. Duties:

• Research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and non-payment and holdover notices.
• Handle a range of complex real estate litigation matters, both commercial and residential.
• Represent clients such as landlords, developers, managing agents, investors, and condominium boards in the Housing Court and Supreme Court.
• Attend court hearings, and depositions, argue motions, and conduct trials.
• Engage in marketing efforts, including writing legal articles and publications to enhance the firm’s presence.
• Ensure compliance with all firm policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in landlord/tenant litigation.
• Experience in the Housing Court and Supreme Court is essential.
• Trial and appellate experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative attitude with a dedication to delivering quality legal services.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software tools.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active New York State Bar license in good standing.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
