Duties
Conduct residential real estate closings involving lenders, buyers, and sellers
Review closing documents for accuracy, legal sufficiency, and compliance
Perform title review and address curative issues such as title discrepancies or missing documentation
Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and title companies
Ensure timely completion and filing of all legal documents
Handle high-pressure customer service situations with professionalism and tact
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Recent law school graduate or early-career attorney with a strong interest in real estate law
Willingness and ability to manage multiple closings daily
Professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced legal setting
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active license to practice law in the State of North Carolina (required)
South Carolina Bar admission preferred but not required
North Carolina Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Skills
