Duties:
Handle first-party insurance and bad faith litigation matters
Represent clients, particularly insurance carriers, in complex coverage disputes
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and related litigation documents
Oversee significant case development and management tasks
Navigate proceedings in both state and federal courts
Produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
Collaborate with team members across litigation matters while maintaining independent task management
Requirements:
3–5 years of litigation experience
Prior experience in first-party insurance and bad faith litigation required
Experience representing insurance carriers strongly preferred
Capable of managing litigation files with minimal supervision
Consistent follow-through and reliability
Ability to integrate into a hybrid or remote working environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the Texas Bar (active and in good standing)
Skills:
Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions
Strong knowledge of local state and federal court procedures
Effective case management and litigation strategy execution
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in collaboration
