Duties:

• Represent clients in divorce matters and other family law cases.

• Handle municipal matters (training provided).

• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.

• Advise clients on business and legal transactions.

• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.

• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law.

• Ability to meet a 35 billable hour per week requirement.

• Familiarity with various legal documents and family law processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional relationships.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Illinois License to Practice Law (Required).

Skills:

• Expertise in family law, including divorce and custody matters.

• Strong legal research and drafting skills.

• Proficiency in negotiating settlements and managing casework.

• Ability to effectively manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.
