Job Overview:

A Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a seasoned attorney with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in civil litigation, particularly within consumer law. The position offers an opportunity to independently manage a docket of active cases while being part of a collaborative and fast-paced legal team. This role involves direct client interaction, courtroom appearances, and strategic case development.

Duties:

• Handle a portfolio of consumer litigation matters from initiation through resolution or trial

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

• Appear at court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and developments

• Collaborate with internal legal support staff to promote workflow efficiency

• Conduct detailed legal research and provide strategic recommendations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience handling civil litigation, preferably in consumer law

• Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-volume setting

• Self-motivated with sound judgment and attention to detail

• Comfortable in courtrooms and skilled in litigation procedures

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California
