Duties

• Draft and review dispositive motions and other relevant pleadings.
• Appear in local state courts for settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions/hearings.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Assist with legal research and provide support for ongoing cases.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Perform general legal administrative tasks as needed.
• Learn and gain experience in various aspects of landlord-tenant law, including motions and trials.

Requirements

• Must be admitted to the New York Bar or pending admission.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow within the practice area.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with a team.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client and colleague interactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
