This role offers an opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, work collaboratively with experienced attorneys, and contribute to a dynamic legal practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong litigation background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Duties

• Handle litigation matters, including case assessment, strategy development, and client communication.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support litigation strategies.

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings.

• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for trial as needed.

• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.

• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of litigation experience.

• 1-3 years of Prior insurance defense experience preferred.

• Active license to practice law in New Hampshire.

• Licensure in additional states or eligibility to waive in is a plus.

• Prior insurance defense experience (1-3 years preferred).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in New Hampshire.
