This position is ideal for a seasoned real estate attorney looking to handle a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including leasing, development, construction, and title diligence. The role offers flexibility for full-time or reduced-hour arrangements and is well-suited for candidates who enjoy project ownership and client interaction. This is a counsel-level position and is not on a partnership track.

Handle commercial leasing matters for office, retail, and industrial properties
Provide legal guidance on real estate development and construction projects
Conduct title analysis and oversee title/due diligence reviews
Coordinate and manage real estate transactions from inception through closing
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
Draft and negotiate complex lease agreements, easements, and related real estate documents
Support clients in managing risk and compliance in real estate-related matters
8+ years of legal experience in commercial real estate law
Significant experience in leasing, development, and construction matters
Proficiency in title review and real estate due diligence
Ability to manage projects independently while coordinating with internal teams
Comfortable with direct client interaction and advising on sophisticated legal issues
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active license to practice law in the State of Texas, or eligibility for prompt admission
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
Client-service oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
Detail-oriented with sound legal and business judgment
