A law firm located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a variety of real estate matters on a daily basis. With 3-5 years of experience in real estate litigation, the Associate Attorney will be expected to contribute to case preparation, including depositions and trial work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate real estate disputes, including property transactions, leases, and ownership issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare cases for trial, including gathering evidence and preparing witnesses.
  • Provide legal advice and strategy recommendations to clients on real estate matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Handle a variety of real estate-related matters on a daily basis, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters and switch between various tasks efficiently.
  • Deposition and trial preparation experience is preferred.
  • Strong academic record and professional reputation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of Texas.

Skills:

  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating real estate-related legal documents.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and client communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex litigation and trial preparation.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities.
