Assist in litigation related to employment disputes and contract matters
Draft and review transactional documents and service contracts
Represent clients in administrative proceedings related to licensing and regulatory issues
Advise business clients on compliance with employment, corporate, and housing regulations
Support estate planning and probate matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
Work directly with business owners, executive directors, and nonprofit boards
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on statutory and policy issues affecting senior housing and mental health systems
Participate in firm-led educational seminars and presentations on public policy topics
0–3 years of legal experience in any of the following areas:
Employment law
Business or corporate law
Administrative/regulatory law
Estate planning and probate
Strong interest in working with assisted living and mental health service providers
Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills
Commitment to providing clear and practical legal counsel
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Admission to the Michigan State Bar (or eligibility for immediate admission)
Strong research and analytical abilities
Effective client communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail
