Duties:

• Provide technical expertise to patent litigation teams based on scientific and technical knowledge.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gather information about new ideas.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, particularly in upstream technology.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Superior writing skills and outstanding academic credentials.
• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Education:

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Skills:

• Proficiency in drafting patent applications with attention to detail and clarity.
• Excellent communication skills for corresponding with patent offices and collaborating with legal teams.
• Analytical mindset for assessing technical aspects of inventions and advising on patent matters.
• Ability to conduct thorough inventor interviews to gather relevant information.
