The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle complex intellectual property litigation cases and possess the necessary educational and professional qualifications.

Duties:

• Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide legal analysis.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies, including case preparation, discovery, and trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
• Participate in case management and client development activities.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate background in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or life sciences (e.g., molecular biology or chemistry).
• Admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible for admission.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant intellectual property litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Preferred Backgrounds:

• Federal clerkship experience.
• Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (patent Bar).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or life sciences.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (preferred).
