A reputable law firm based in Jersey City, NJ is actively seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with a focus on personal injury to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional passionate about client advocacy and experienced in managing cases from intake to final resolution. The successful candidate will oversee a range of personal injury claims, work collaboratively with legal support staff, and maintain a high standard of client service throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

• Represent clients in diverse personal injury matters, including vehicle collisions, premises liability, and other negligence-related claims

• Supervise and coordinate with legal support staff assigned to assist with case preparation and follow-up

• Conduct initial consultations, assess case viability, and maintain strong client relationships

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence with accuracy and clarity

• Manage an active docket of pre-litigation and litigation cases, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines

• Guide each case from initial file opening through settlement, mediation, or trial

Requirements:

• Authorized to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing with the State Bar

• Previous experience handling personal injury litigation, ideally including direct client interaction and courtroom appearances

• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to upholding client confidentiality

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (required)
