Location

Duties

• Proactively handle a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, under senior attorney supervision.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.

• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.

• Prepare detailed case analysis reports for clients with a focus on proactive resolution strategies.

• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive, supportive team environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.

• Experience handling premises liability, general liability, and personal injury matters.

• Deposition, motion practice, and report writing experience required.

• Trial and trial preparation experience preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
