A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Attorney to join its team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for attorneys with 2–15 years of experience in handling complex general liability, personal injury, transportation, and catastrophic injury matters. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York.

Location

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution

• Conduct regular trial preparation, case investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and case analysis reports

• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients on litigation strategies

• Provide consistent case updates and strategic recommendations to clients

Requirements

• 2–15 years of litigation experience, specifically in defense litigation

• Experience in personal injury, general liability, catastrophic injury, transportation, and/or civil litigation preferred

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• Experience in client interaction and relationship management preferred

• Familiarity with legal project management considered an advantage

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of New York

• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Proficiency in legal research platforms and case management software
