A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney in Detroit, MI. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a senior attorney, assisting with case preparation, litigation support, and client communication. Duties

• Assist supervising attorneys with all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Michigan Bar.
• 1-3 years of relevant legal experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction.
• A collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license.
• Accept a background check.

Education

• Doctor of Law.

Certifications

• Licensed with the Michigan Bar.
