Duties

• Analyze, research, and draft briefs on complex legal issues for state and federal court motions.
• Draft and maintain proof charts and pleadings.
• Prepare discovery, briefing, and research materials.
• Make court appearances for hearings and trials.
• Participate in administrative hearings before various state and federal agencies.
• Attend and assist in taking depositions.
• Engage in mediations.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and paralegals to align work with case strategy.

Requirements

• Good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Ability to manage and synthesize large sets of documents and data.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management abilities.
• Effective team collaboration and clear communication skills.
• Experience in both State and Federal courts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
