The candidate will be drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, agreements; Drafting, issuing and answering discovery and subpoenas; Drafting, filing and managing post-judgment proceedings including citations, rules to show cause and garnishments, Preparing mechanics lien notices, releases, final waivers; Drafting and filing Annual Reports, memoranda, resolutions, and corporate governance documents; Drafting Commercial Real Estate Agreements for purchase, sale or lease. Maintain, file and record all legal documentation; Prepare and timely dispatch certified mailings and emails; Track and ensure that all deadlines are met; Manage tasks given by General Counsel efficiently and effectively, Facilitate prompt, efficient and professional communication with employees, service providers and business partners. Possess a strong command of MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access; Minimum 7 years relevant Litigation experience in Civil, Contract, Construction disputes. Workman’s Comp, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice experience not considered relevant; Minimum of 10 years legal experience in contract review, real estate, acquisitions, commercial collection proceeding; corporate governance; Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program preferred. Possess great pride in the accuracy and quality of one’s work product; Project maturity, sound judgment and professionalism to manage confidential Company matters and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment; Possess a strong work ethic to work independently and efficiently, understanding assignments and meeting deadlines; Possess strong communication skills having the ability to communicate with corporate departments, managers, and executives.
