Duties:

• Handle litigation matters related to insurance coverage, including professional liability, general liability, and D&O policies

• Draft complex pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct and manage all aspects of the discovery process

• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings

• Contribute to strategic planning and case development

• Engage in client-facing work, including communications and relationship management

• Support or lead efforts in business development and client expansion

• Independently manage assigned matters with minimal oversight, while also collaborating within team environments

Requirements:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in insurance-related litigation and commercial dispute resolution

• In-depth understanding of insurance policy structures and legal principles applicable to coverage disputes

• Demonstrated litigation experience, including motion practice and courtroom exposure

• Capacity to take initiative and handle complex assignments autonomously

• Proven track record of working effectively within legal teams and across practice areas

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in Texas, or eligibility for prompt admission

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and analytical writing abilities

• Strong verbal communication and advocacy skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management capabilities
