A law firm seeks a Public Companies and Capital Markets Associate in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public company and capital market matters, including SEC compliance, governance, and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance. Experience with technology and life sciences companies is advantageous.

Duties

• Manage public company reporting compliance and governance.
• Address day-to-day issues for public companies, including disclosure matters.
• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions.
• Handle IPOs, equity/debt offerings, and private investments in public entities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public company and capital markets.
• Extensive knowledge of SEC compliance and governance.
• Experience with Nasdaq/NYSE compliance.
• Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills
