Duties

• Maintain membership in the Kansas State Bar and fulfill Continuing Legal Education requirements annually.
• Adhere to ethical standards as per the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Provide legal guidance on estate planning, wealth shift, and asset protection.
• Draft estate planning documents, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research to support client matters and provide updated legal advice.
• Administer trusts and estates, including asset transfers and probate proceedings.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff for efficient administration processes.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding their case status.
• Work with senior attorneys on complex estate planning strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience, preferably in Estate Planning.
• Experience with high-net-worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning principles, tax laws, and probate procedures.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctorate Degree.

Certifications

• Membership in the Kansas State Bar.
