A law firm seeks an Asset Management Associate to join the Regulatory & Enforcement practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience advising investment advisers, including private fund advisers, on regulatory and compliance matters under federal securities laws. Experience with broker-dealer regulatory and compliance matters is beneficial but not required.

Duties

• Advise investment advisers on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Provide guidance on federal securities laws.
• Assist with compliance strategies for private fund advisers.
• Collaborate with team members on enforcement issues.

Requirements

• Three to six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with investment adviser regulations.
• Knowledge of federal securities laws.
• Experience with broker-dealer regulations is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
