Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, ensuring effective and strategic advocacy from case inception through settlement or trial
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation, develop legal strategies, and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
• Handle negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure fair and just compensation for clients
• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, maintaining regular communication with clients to provide updates and explain legal processes
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to prepare cases for trial, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence are properly organized
• Attend and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials, presenting the client’s case in a clear and compelling manner
• Stay up to date with changes in personal injury law, ensuring compliance with regulations and legal developments
• Provide exceptional client service, offering empathetic guidance to individuals facing difficult legal challenges

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in New Jersey, with the ability to represent clients in the state
• 1 to 6 years of experience in personal injury law or related legal practice
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner
• A strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients, both through settlement negotiations and trial experience
• Compassionate, client-focused approach, with a strong sense of professionalism and ethical conduct
• Experience with legal software and case management systems is a plus
