Job Description

Duties

  • Represent clients in first-party property insurance claims and disputes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Provide clients with legal advice and updates on case progress.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain detailed and organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to property insurance.
  • Assist in marketing and business development efforts to grow the practice.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar Association (or pending admission).
  • 0-5 years of experience in property law or related fields.
  • Portable business is a plus.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar Association (or pending admission).
