Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings related to real estate disputes
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Negotiate and facilitate settlements between parties
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and regulations
• Conduct property inspections and assessments
• Review and analyze cases for court appearances and legal conferences
• Collect and assemble evidence for trial preparation
• Conduct real property valuation analyses
• Oversee settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation
• Prepare and organize cases for trial
• Stay informed on legal developments and provide updates to attorneys and clients
• Perform administrative and managerial tasks related to legal practice

Requirements:

• Active New York State Bar license
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in property or business valuation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in mathematics and analytical thinking
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of real estate markets, transactions, and legal trends
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills independently
• Strong ability to remain positive and composed under pressure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
