Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Gainesville, Florida office. The role involves managing pre-litigation work, focusing primarily on personal injury cases, particularly motor vehicle incidents. The attorney will oversee a team of Case Managers and ensure compliance with key performance indicators.

Duties

• Handle all pre-litigation work daily.
• Complete Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
• 2+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Desire to become part of a trial team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the Florida State Bar Association.
