Associate Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of 30+ cases in litigation, overseeing discovery processes, conducting depositions, attending hearings, facilitating negotiations, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. The candidate must hold a valid CA license, be in good standing, and possess at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation. Prior experience in Personal Injury law is preferred, along with excellent research skills and bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of 30+ cases in litigation.
• Oversee discovery processes, including propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Prepare clients for and conduct depositions.
• Attend hearings in state courts on behalf of clients.
• Facilitate negotiation discussions to reach settlements.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service to all clients.

Requirements:

• California State Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Prior experience in Personal Injury law is preferred.
• Excellent research skills and oral and written communication abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
