Duties:

• Represent clients in civil defense matters across multiple industries and practice areas

• Manage case files from inception through resolution or trial

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Participate in strategy development for defense cases

• Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses

• Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony

• Argue motions in court and assist in trial preparation, and support

• Collaborate with team members across multiple offices nationwide

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Prior experience or strong interest in litigation

• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and evidence

• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Strong courtroom presence and litigation instincts

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good standing membership with the California State Bar
