Duties

• Analyze, assess, and execute litigation strategies through all stages of litigation.
• Conduct depositions and manage written discovery processes.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, offering detailed liability and damage analyses.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including hearings, motions, and mediations.
• Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 4+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with trials and/or administrative hearings is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Experience in civil litigation; representing public entities or education agencies is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of laws and procedures applicable to public entities, including governmental immunities and claims statutes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
