Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Commercial Litigation Senior Associate in Elmwood Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of solid commercial litigation experience and a desire to gain additional substantive experience with increased responsibility.

Duties

• Engage in hands-on litigation, including courtroom experience.
• Conduct deposition practice, both taking and defending.
• Participate in discovery and eDiscovery processes.
• Prepare witnesses for legal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• Experience with trials and class actions is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work both individually and in teams.
