Duties

• Evaluate new legal files and establish case strategies, budgets, and recommendations

• Draft pleadings and delegate tasks to paralegals as appropriate

• Manage discovery, including preparation of responses and document production

• Attend and report on depositions, hearings, and other case events

• Negotiate settlements, obtain appropriate authority, and prepare cases for trial

• Maintain ongoing communication with legal assistants and paralegals

Requirements

• 3–4 years of legal experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation

• Active license to practice law in Georgia

• Ability to independently manage caseload and priorities

• Strong decision-making and organizational skills

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Georgia State Bar license (Required)
