Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Brunswick, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney to manage personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase. The role focuses on handling a full caseload from intake to settlement, ensuring thorough case preparation, client communication, and strategic negotiation with insurers. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and driven to secure optimal outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Oversee a portfolio of personal injury cases from inception through settlement

• Engage in direct negotiations with insurance carriers to resolve claims efficiently

• Supervise a dedicated legal assistant assigned to each case

• Maintain frequent and transparent communication with clients regarding case progress

• Initiate new cases and ensure consistent client follow-up and documentation

• Conduct comprehensive case investigations and manage relevant data within internal systems

• Validate insurance policy coverage and establish liability with insurers

• Coordinate client medical treatment, maintaining communication with healthcare providers

• Schedule medical evaluations and explain treatment documentation to clients

• Monitor treatment progress and obtain supporting medical records

• Organize and prepare case materials for settlement demand drafting

Requirements:

• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize high caseloads

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Client-focused mindset with the ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy

• Results-oriented work ethic with attention to accuracy and consistency

• Reliable, punctual, and highly organized professional conduct

• Proficiency in bilingual communication is advantageous

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

Skills:

• Case management and insurance negotiation

• Legal research and documentation

• Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills

• Proficiency with legal case software and database systems

• Ability to lead support staff and manage administrative workflow

Job Location:
