Duties

• Evaluate new case files to develop strategies, budgets, and recommendations

• Identify necessary pleadings and direct paralegal support accordingly

• Prepare and respond to discovery, including document management

• Attend and report on depositions, hearings, and discovery events

• Negotiate settlements, obtain necessary authority, and prepare for trial

• Communicate regularly with paralegals and legal assistants for case progression

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense

• Active license to practice law in Georgia

• Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and high-quality client service

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar (Required)
