A law firm in Crown Point, IN, seeks a highly experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Partner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workers' compensation with a focus on personal injury defense. This role requires leadership abilities, a robust client portfolio, and a commitment to achieving exceptional results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation defense matters.
• Manage and oversee complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm to leverage resources and expertise.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Indiana State Bar with good standing.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in workers' compensation law, focusing on personal injury defense.
• Proven track record of handling high-volume caseloads and achieving favorable outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications and Skills:

• Certification in Workers' Compensation Law is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to meet billable hour requirements (2000) annually).
• Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
