A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will focus on production-related tasks, ensuring efficient case management. This full-time position offers a hybrid to fully remote work arrangement.

Duties

• Oversee and manage the production workflow of immigration cases, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare filings for various immigration processes.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior attorneys and support staff.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize and solve complex immigration matters.
• Stay updated on immigration laws and integrate changes into case management practices.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
• Conduct client consultations to assess case requirements and provide legal advice.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel nationwide for individual hearings.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in any jurisdiction and in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law, with a focus on removal defense.
• Experience preparing for and attending individual merits hearings.
• Proven track record of managing immigration cases and overseeing production tasks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Must reside in the DFW area.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar in any jurisdiction and in good standing.
