Associate Attorney - No Fault Litigator

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in First- and Third-Party No-Fault Litigation. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in drafting complex motions, conducting depositions, and analyzing medical, scientific, and engineering issues related to these types of cases. This role will require a thorough understanding of No-Fault Litigation and will involve managing litigated files from inception to trial.

Location:

• Livonia, MI

Duties:

• Draft complex motions, answer discovery, and assist with the preparation of initial disclosures
• Summarize and analyze claim file materials
• Conduct, summarize, and analyze depositions
• Perform necessary and appropriate discovery
• Conduct legal research and remain current with developments in the law
• Understand medical, scientific, engineering, or similar issues and defenses related to No-Fault cases
• Manage litigated files from inception through trial

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of First- and Third-Party No-Fault Litigation experience
• Must be licensed to practice law in Michigan

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Valid Michigan Bar License

Skills:

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal and medical issues
• Experience in managing litigation cases from start to finish
• Proficiency in legal research and discovery processes
