A law firm seeks a determined and efficient Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience to join its team in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior associates to draft documents, assist in litigation, conduct legal research, and support daily legal operations.

Duties

• Draft legal documents and motions.
• Handle litigation matters under senior attorney supervision.
• Provide support to senior associates and firm leadership.
• Review and file court documents promptly.
• Maintain attorney-client confidentiality.
• Advise clients on conflict resolution.

Requirements

• Accredited law degree.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Utah State Bar; licenses in Texas, Nevada, and California are a plus.
• Experience in a law firm or legal practice.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions and assisting in complex litigation, including discovery and motion practice.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills with significant legal research experience.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing transactional, employment, and real estate documents.
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate practical ideas and solutions clearly.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn new areas of law.

Education

• Accredited law degree.

Certifications

• Utah State Bar License required.
• Licenses in Texas, Nevada, and California are desired but not required.
